DORMAGEN – After a decade of painstaking research, Covestro has delivered its first batch of novel polymers derived from the greenhouse gas carbon dioxide (CO2). The company claims its new processes that utilise CO2 as a raw material for polymer production, have the potential to revolutionise plastics production and significantly improve the environmental footprint of industries such as the textile sector.
