DUBLIN - Primark has released figures which show that female farmers taking part in its sustainable cotton initiative last year increased profits on average by 247 per cent. The initiative also helped the women cut input costs by 19 per cent by reducing chemical and pesticide usage, and reduce water use by 10 per cent.
