VANCOUVER– Twelve brands from across the retail spectrum, including several from the fashion and textile sector, have signed up with environmental non-profit Canopy to commit to keeping ancient and endangered forests out of the paper packaging and man-made Cellulosic Fibre (MMCF) supply chains.

The commitments, from clothing labels Alémais, Kites And Bites, Nui Organics, Treun House Atelier and home textiles brand Leisurely, are part of Canopy’s Pack4Good and CanopyStyle initiatives which currently represent over 403 and 547 brand partners respectively. Swiss textile technology firm HeiQ and carbon negative textiles pioneer Rubi have also signed up.
