WASHINGTON – The US-based National Council of Textile Organizations (NCTO) has welcomed the launch of a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) textile enforcement plan aimed at eradicating unfair trade practices.

The DHS has been under pressure to beef up the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA) amidst fears that loopholes are devastating US textile and apparel manufacturers.
