WASHINGTON DC – UK waste recycling charity WRAP is expanding its efforts across the Atlantic after opening a new office where it will co-ordinate campaigns on issues, including textile waste, across South, Central and North America.
WRAP, the NGO behind the Textiles 2030 project, said to be the world’s most ambitious ten-year environmental programme for clothing and textiles, said its 'WRAP in the Americas' operation would tackle issues "from the foot of Chile to the top of Canada".
