BRUSSELS - The European Parliament has today given its final approval to legislation that will make larger companies responsible for human rights and environmental issues in their global supply chains.

Approval for the European Union's (EU) landmark Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) came on the 11th anniversary of Rana Plaza, the garment industry's worst ever disaster.
