The RITE Group (Reducing the Impact of Textiles on the Environment) is a non-profit organisation run by expert volunteers from the textile industry, retailers and academia.
As from 1st April 2010, the RITE Group is now registered as an official NGO. To date it has not applied for any funding, but has generated revenues through its annual conference in order to fund its activities.
As such, RITE is globally recognised for its credible and totally independent approach to sustainability in the textile and clothing sectors.
By supporting RITE, sponsors can visibly back an industry-led, independent voice, which has called for an inclusive, environmentally sustainable textile industry from day one of its formation.
