RITE event offers supplier benefits

Source4Style LONDON – The RITE Group conference on sustainable textiles has teamed up with Source4Style.com the premier on-line destination to search and source sustainable textile materials to offer delegates free registration to the new site.

Source4Style.com is a new B2B online marketplace that allows fashion and interior designers to search and purchase sustainable materials from a network of global suppliers. It will debut to the public at the RITE Conference on sustainable textiles which takes place at Central Hall Westminster, London on 6th October 2010.

The curated sourcing platform, founded by model and sustainability strategist Summer Rayne Oakes, who announced the initiative at the last RITE Conference in 2009, and fair trade entrepreneur Benita Singh, recently launched Source4Style.com in private beta. The site currently hosts 25 suppliers and over 1000 materials, such as organic cottons, recycled materials, handwoven silks, and other novel fabrics.

“Source4Style offers suppliers an opportunity to showcase their materials and sustainability story,” says Oakes. “You can think of us as a 365-day virtual tradeshow where designers can purchase sustainable materials for their collections.”

Fabric suppliers who are attending the RITE conference and are interested to display their products on the new site can apply online and if accepted are taken through a Sustainability and Materials Questionnaire.

The online B2B marketplace is one of the most cost-effective and scaleable marketing tools to reach buyers, designers and sourcing officials globally 365 days a year.

Suppliers exhibiting or attending the RITE Conference can apply to be on the Source4Style platform at http://www.source4style.com/suppliers

RITE attendees or exhibitors who apply before August 30, 2010 will receive free registration to the site.
