LENZING – Austrian speciality fibres business Lenzing says it plans to invest €275m in a Tencel fibre production plant in the USA as part of its plans to boost the share of specialty fibres as a percentage of company revenues to 50 per cent by 2020. The move follows closely on the back of previous expansion plans for Lenzing, Heiligenkreuz (Austria) and Grimsby (UK).
