METRO Group reports that the aim of this board is to bundle and control the numerous sustainability activities already existing within the Group, on the one hand. Furthermore, METRO Group considers a leading position in this field to be a competitive advantage. On the other hand, this panel is to firmly implement the subject of sustainability across the whole company.
