RITE conferenceLONDON – The RITE Group conference on sustainable textiles is now being backed by one of Britain's oldest companies which will sponsor two small businesses to exhibit free of charge at the London event which takes place on 6th October 2010.

The 482 year-old Clothworkers’ Company, which was founded by Royal Charter in 1528, has agreed to pay for two small enterprises to exhibit free of charge at the exhibition as the applicants can demonstrate a solid commitment to sustainable practices.

All interested companies have to do to enter this competition is to be:

•    a growing company with less than 50 employees

•    complete the application form HERE

•    provide a 300 word statement on what they are doing in the field of sustainable textiles and why they should have a free exhibition booth.

The top two entries will be judged by the RITE Group steering committee. The competition closing date is 13th September 2010.

The competition is open to textile and clothing companies from around the world.
