Zhejiang – Shaoxing County, renowned as a major textile hub in Eastern China, is to reduce its annual textile printing
and dyeing capacity by 710 million metres before mid-September, as part of a
wider plan to reduce energy usage and cut emissions.
The reduction accounts for around 5% of the
current capacity of the county, which is located in the south of the Yangtze
Delta in China’s Zhejiang Province.
