Written by John Mowbray

Nike labelsOREGON - Nike has today released its much anticipated open-source design tool which will help the company and the rest of the industry to reduce the environmental footprint of clothing and footwear.

The new software-based ‘Environmental Apparel Design Tool’ was designed and built by Nike over seven years with a US$6 million investment and is based on Nike’s Considered Design Index.
