LONDON - Price issues remain the main concern for more than 75% of UK consumers when it comes to choosing ethically and sustainable produced fashion while only 28% also believe that organic cotton is of similar quality to conventional cotton, according to a new report.
The findings are the result of an independent study commissioned by Made-By, the European not-for-profit organisation that works with brands to make sustainable fashion common practice, to investigate the patterns of consumer behaviour with regard to sustainable fashion products in the UK market.
