DuPont welcomes bio-based label launch

cornWASHINGTON - DuPont Applied BioSciences has welcomed the launch of the BioPreferred Certified Biobased Product label by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Speaking after the launch of the standard, which will help consumers identify products with bio-based content, DuPont Applied BioSciences president Craig F. Binetti applauded the USDA and the Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack for moving forward with the bio-preferred purchasing program.
