Sustainable fashion takes message to UK Parliament

houseofcommonsLONDON – It was standing room only at a preliminary meeting of the new All Party Parliamentary Group on Ethics and Sustainability in Fashion at the House of Lords yesterday, where Baroness Lola Young revealed that Green Party MP Caroline Lucas is expected to join the group to give it added political clout.

The meeting was a prelude to the official launch of the new All Party Parliamentary group which aims to put the issue of sustainability in fashion firmly on the political agenda in the UK.
