Polar Pollution: Outdoor memoirs of polarfleece sees author Doug Hoschek team up with Green Camel Bell, an NGO based in China, to explore how the outdoor industry supply chain for US retailers and brands has altered over the last few decades and the impact that this has had on water and air pollution, both in the US, China and other parts of Asia.
Author Doug Hoschek is credited as the co-inventor, and more specifically, the creator of polarfleece and the polarfleece technology.
He also claims to have developed the first recycled polyester outdoor fabric using polarfleece technology with PET bottles in 1993-94.
