LONDON – Walmart the world’s largest retailer, has joined the Better Cotton Initiative as the membership of this multi-stakeholder group climbs to 155 members in 2012 from just 66 members a year ago. The move is a boost to the BCI plan to bring one million metric tons of Better Cotton lint to the global textile market by 2015.
