RIO – With the REACH chemicals regulation review kicking off this month, global chemical giants at the Rio Earth Summit in Brazil said they would prefer a global approach to environmental policy instead of the having to comply with many different requirements in different global regions – but perhaps with a different style of regulation in developing countries.
