BRISTOL - Lord Peter Melchett, Policy Director at the Soil Association, is the latest high profile speaker to be announced for the Rite Group Conference which takes place in London on 10 October.
During his presentation, Lord Melchett will be providing details of the Soil Association’s forthcoming ‘Have you Cottoned on Yet?’ campaign. The campaign, which launches in October, will gather evidence which shows that organic cotton is the long-term goal for brands wanting to offer sustainable textiles by setting out five unique benefits of organic. The campaign will also be exploring the so-called 'dangers' of GM cotton, and the proliferation of lower-level entry point schemes.
