IDH targets major Better Cotton growth

UTRECHT, HOLLAND – Better Cotton production is growing so rapidly that it has the potential to be at millions of tonnes per year by 2020 if the Better Cotton Fast Track Programme fulfils its potential. That’s the view of Joost Oorthuizen, director of the Sustainable Trade Initiative (IDH) which set up the Better Cotton Fast Track Programme together with leading brands, NGOs and other funders to increase the implementation of Better Cotton.
