Plan calls for UK textile industry boost

British labelLONDON – UK Secretary of State for Business Vince Cable appeared alongside British designer Sir Paul Smith and David Wootton, the Lord Mayor of the City of London, to back a plan which could help resurrect the UK textile manufacturing sector, creating up to 200,000 new jobs and and a more sustainable way of producing textiles and clothing.
