INTERLAKEN - Sustainability in the cotton value chain was the prevailing theme of The 71st Plenary Meeting of the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) in Switzerland, with speakers arguing that cotton sustainability should not be considered a fixed point, but a continuous process or ‘journey'. The week’s discussions also focused on the supply chain concept in cotton, with ICAC stating that, “Life Cycle Assessment has entered the cotton lexicon.”
