EOCA logoTRENTO – The Italian Outdoor Group (IOG), which unites 20 Italian companies that produce, import and distribute clothing and equipment has given its support to the environment by becoming the first official trade partner of the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA).

The European Outdoor Conservation Association has welcomed the IOG as its first official trade body partner as part of its bid to raise money to donate to grassroots conservation groups. IOG members include the likes of Garmin, Vaude, Patagonia Italia, Thermore, Mammut among others.

Gerardine Parisi, Executive Manager of the IOG said, “We are delighted to be associated with EOCA in this way.  We are convinced that this is the right way forward for the group, and will also be encouraging as many of our members to can get involved as possible.” Tanya Bascombe, Joint General Manager of EOCA added, “The more organisations that get involved, the more impact the outdoor industry can have in giving back to the environment.  Working in partnership with the IOG will give us much greater visibility with the Italian market, outdoor companies and the Italian consumer, which is very exciting”.
