North Face questions UBA tests

NorthFaceCALIFORNIA – A major question mark has been raised over the results of textile testing carried out by the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA), which found traces of potentially harmful by-products of fluorine-based (PFC) chemicals on outdoor clothing, after one of the brands concerned – The North Face – carried out new, independent tests of its own, which revealed very different results.
