Textile project upcycles discarded fishing nets

Fishing netsTILBURG – Discarded fishing nets will be up-cycled into a nylon yarn for socks, underwear, textiles and carpets under an EU ‘Healthy Seas’ initiative, involving conservation organisations and textile developers, which aims to remove marine litter to create healthier oceans.
