Poll: US consumers sceptical about organic

NEW YORK – A new survey of US adults has found that well over half (59 per cent) think that labelling products as organic is simply an excuse to charge more. Equally, the Harris poll, which was carried out on more than 2,000 Americans in the run up to Earth Day, also found growing concerns among US consumers about environmental issues.
