Defra considers textile landfill ban

DEFRALONDON – The Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) is currently considering what would happen if a total ban on the landfilling of textiles and clothing was introduced in the UK; with initial research seems to suggest significant cost and carbon savings would be the result.
