AMSTERDAM – The head of leading Dutch textile trade body, Modint, has suggested the industry needs ‘chaos,’ ‘competition’ and ‘courage’ as it seeks to move towards a more circular way of working and develop a new “winning model.” Jef Wintermans, Modint director, says that effecting the required industry change, “has more to do with psychology … letting go of old ideas of how the future would look like – and letting new ideas get in.”
