BCI ups target, questions remain on uptake

pilesUTRECHT – The Better Cotton fast-track programme has upped its production target from 1 to 1.5 million tonnes of fibre by 2015. However, uptake of Better Cotton remains stubbornly low, and growing consumption must surely be now made a priority to ensure the long-term sustainability of the programme.
