chemical dangerSTOCKHOLM – A new Swedish report examines how a proposed tax on textiles and footwear that contain hazardous chemicals could reduce annual purchases of consumer products that contain these substances by about 60 per cent – while at the same time raising SEK 200 million (US$31M) for the government’s coffers.
