Fools rush in to Ethiopia?

wastewaterALMEDA, ETHIOPIA - One of Ethiopia’s largest textile manufacturing plants has been accused of posing a “serious environmental problem” after researchers analysed wastewater samples from different three sites at the plant. The findings raise question marks over the current ‘flavour of the month’ status of Ethiopia as a textile sourcing hub. Ecotextile News is yet to establish whether Almeda Textile plc, owner of the factory, supplies to any western brands.
