Lenzing revenues hit by low fibre prices

Lenzing, AustriaAUSTRIA – High cotton inventories, high cotton production and surplus capacities in China for man-made cellulose fibres means that Lenzing – maker of Tencel – sees a continued squeeze on its textile fibre prices. Sales revenues at the company fell by 8.7 per cent in 2013 to €1.91bn.
