ISLAMABAD - News agencies in Pakistan are reporting that Walt Disney has dropped the country from its 'Permitted Sourcing Countries' in a move that will strip Pakistan of $200 million of exports of textile products. Pakistan is being blacklisted because it failed to address concerns regarding UN governance standards and working conditions in its cotton industry, and there are fears that other retailers with ties with Pakistan, such as Walmart, Macys, Sears, Target, Kmart, Kohls, Gap, JC Penny, could follow suit.
