Bangladesh reportNEW YORK - An alarming new report on garment manufacture in Bangladesh has painted a fiendishly complex, smoke and mirrors picture where major factory groups use ‘showcase’ factories with high safety and production standards to deal with Western buyers, while, behind the scenes, less compliant facilities carry out the majority of contract work.
