MILAN – A specially commissioned report by Ecotextile News into the Italian textile industry has found that sustainability and environmental issues are gathering a growing head of steam in a sector more traditionally known for its focus on high-end luxury products. The report was carried out by Pamela Ravasio who, among other businesses, looked at the sustainability of efforts of Veneto-based mills, Lanificio Paoletti and Lanificio Bottoli, jeans-maker Italdenim and yarn manufacturers Aquafil and Newlife.
