HERZOGENAURACH – The Adidas Group has announced a partnership with bluesign technologies as part of its strategy for managing chemicals in its supply chain. The sportswear giant has also made a hugely ambitious commitment to disclosing 99 per cent of its China-based “wet processes” by the end of 2014. Subsequently, the company has also committed to achieve the disclosure of 50 per cent of all “wet processes” across its global supply chain by no later than December 31, 2015, and of at least 80 per cent by no later than July 1, 2016, via what it’s calling the ‘IPE Detox platform’.
