DHAKA – The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exports Association (BGMEA) has secured a deal worth US$1.2 billion to fund the Baushia Garment Park project, after Chinese trading company Orient International agreed to the investment in a bid to improve non-compliant facilities in garment factories.
