New progress on chemically recycled textiles

HELSINKI – Researchers in Finland say they are close to developing large-scale novel solutions for dissolving and then recycling cellulosic-based textiles such as cotton; as the country gears up for legislation, which will ban the dumping of textiles in landfill sites.
