HAMBURG - The Aid by Trade Foundation (AbTF) has published the results of a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) which looked at the impact of lint cotton produced under the Cotton made in Africa (CmiA) programme. Issues such as climate change, eutrophication and water use were investigated, and the findings suggest CmiA has a "very good" environmental performance.
