Chemical alternative for textile accessories

PARIS – Italian textile accessories manufacturer Prym Fashion has adopted a processing approach to help reduce its water use, energy consumption and waste in manufacturing. The Low Impact Finish Ensemble (LIFE) treatment process replaces 'environmentally harmful' methods such as some types of chemical colouring and coating with 'natural' treatment through stones and sand. Tommy Lee reports from Premiere Vision.
