SINGAPORE – Sustainable textile auxiliaries and colorants supplier Dystar Group has announced the company is to phase out the use of its Colour Index, citing ecological reasons. The Colour Index is a reference work published jointly by the Society of Dyers & Colourists and the American Association of Textile Chemists & Colorists and lists manufactured colorant pigments and dyes. It is commonly used by manufacturers and the textile industry to identify colourants.
