AMSTERDAM – The Fair Wear Foundation (FWF) has launched a new Living Wage Portal, which aims to assist member brands and groups throughout the textile supply to overcome obstacles that prevent garment workers from earning a living wage. Real-life examples of brands working with factories towards living wages, such as FWF member Switcher setting aside a certain amount per garment for Chinese workers at one of their suppliers, are included in the platform, as well as insights from Oxfam and IndustriALL.
