The 30-year sweatshirt: an antidote to fast fashion

LONDON – Cult UK apparel brand Tom Cridland, which counts Leonardo DiCaprio, Ben Stiller, Brandon Flowers, Robbie Williams, and Daniel Craig among its fans, has launched a new sweatshirt which comes with a 30-year guarantee in what the company hopes will act as a wake-up call for the throw-away fast fashion industry and lead a trend towards more durable clothing. The sweatshirt is handmade by rural artisans in Portugal using organic cotton in a 'loopwheeling' process to ensure it ages well.
