Accord inspectors visit Dhaka factory fire

Bangladesh Accord on Fire and Building Safety

DHAKA - This week's fire at Dignity Textile Mills has highlighted the importance of accelerating corrective actions associated with the Bangladesh Accord for Fire and Building Safety according to a statement from apparel retailer-led body released today (5 June). The fire, which occurred at Dignity Textile Mills in Sreepur Upazila, Dhaka, began from the factory warehouse while most workers were outside on a lunch break.
