C&A Foundation spotlights organic cotton

WASHINGTON – Almost €4 million has been invested by C&A Foundation into improving smallholder organic cotton farming over the past year, according to the retailer’s latest annual report. The ‘Making Fashion a Force for Good’ publication says farmer livelihoods, along with forced labour and poor working conditions, remain major challenges in the apparel industry.
