Adidas presents recycled ocean plastic shoe

NEW YORK – German sportswear giant adidas has created the world's first shoe which has an upper-part made entirely of recycled ocean plastic and gillnets – and the company says it will reveal new ocean plastic products later this year. adidas presented the product at an event hosted by the United Nations in conjunction with Parley for the Oceans, an environmental NGO focused on raising awareness of plastic pollution of the oceans.
