Written by John Mowbray

TASMANIA - Italian wool spinner Tollegno 1900 has entered into a new supply agreement with Australian merino estate Beaufront which, it claims, will ensure it can ensure full traceability of its wool supply from the estate. Beaufront, located on the hills of Ross in Tasmania, is well known for the production of its super fine merino wool. One of the most exclusive estates grazing merino sheep in Australia, it is based on 18,000 hectares of land.
