Services grow in Myanmar but caution remains

LONDON – Reflecting the doubling of garment production in Myanmar during the last 3 years after the USA eased trade restrictions, textile and garment-testing company Intertek has now launched operations in the country where it says one new factory is ‘opening every week’. However, concerns about social compliance still remain.
