MILAN – The European Committee of Textile Machinery Manufacturers (CEMATEX), has announced the six finalists for a Sustainable Innovation Award in a bid to recognise contributions to sustainable development in the global textile industry. The award, which includes a cash prize of €10,000, will be presented at the upcoming ITMA show in Milan, Italy.
The award has been divided into the ‘Research and Innovation Excellence’ and ‘Industry Excellence’ categories, with the judging panel for the latter including John Mowbray, editor of Ecotextile News – a supporting media partner for ITMA 2015.
